“Only after the last tree has been cut off, and the last river poisoned, will we realize that we can’t eat money!”

Recently i read "the alchemist" by Paul Coelho and i must say that what a thought process this man has got...
"If a person wants something truly by heart, then the whole universe conspires to get that for him"-this thing touched my heart.
God has created us,and at that time of making he has set the whole life story of every human being..We are just playing our part in it by the book and if fed up by our daily schedule we really desire for something, then he opens the opportunity for us but at the same time creates an ultimate test to check whether we are capable of what we desire
It is upon us,that we really want that thing or not.It is mostly that when we are close to eliminating those challenges and winning our part,we lose all our hope. Those who doesn't lose hope no matter what ,are the winners.
If we have a true desire, than no matter how many days we have bunked or wasted in doing something unfruitful, our heart makes us remember the desire again and again.I a way god makes us remember. He wants to give us everything we desire ,but not in free.As then we won't value the thing, and this is mostly true.
He(god) is always with us,in our soul no matter what happens.he directs us in the right path though according to us delay might happen, but he never does bad things. There's always good in what happens in our daily lives.Sometimes an obstacle may come in our path, and we think that what had he done..I was to finish this job today. But it's only for the better. You really don't know what misfortune might happen.
It is love that creates in us a desire to live,no matter what our living conditions are.
Heaven and Hell both are on earth. It's only our way of perception that matters. If a person is contended with his life, though it may not be providing him rich but then also satisfied, then wants to live as much as he can, then he is living through his heaven...
If on the other hand,he has no love and desires to die, than this world has become a hell for him.And he justs want to end this life,So that he/she can reincarnate again into some other personality..
Acc. to me,after death every soul is judged by his good and bad workings in the past life..he/her soul is than divided depending upon the good and bad workings of him...if more bad is there ,than the soul is divided into more number of parts and each part takes us a life form whose life -good or bad depends upon his previous life workings..
In the book, the person dream was to roam and learn about as many places as he can,so,he decide to be a shepheard...but god is always looking on us,he knew that being a shepherd his true desire is not being fulfilled. So,by giving him a bait of treasure,he made him seek new places fulfilling one part and on the other hand ne never tell lies,he wanted him to get the treasure but only through hard work and dedication.
Only after that a person understands it's true value and puts that to good use..

when i gave my JEE paper,i got struck on one question in the maths paper of 6 marks and on that i wasted 30 min instead of max 5 minutes that i should have given him. That costed me the loss of 6 integer choice questions totaling about 24 marks and they were damn easy.If then i would have done the right thing,i would have got a rank of arnd 800 and not this textile branch..
I blamed god for that, though it was my own fault..But,everything happens for a reason. There is always something better kept for us,if we didn't get what we desire..

Trip to Nainital(uttrakhand)

I went for a two day trip to nainital and ramnagar . I had some past exposure to mountain areas like Srinagar, pathankot, etc ,but this experience was out of the bounds. As soon as i entered ramnagar, vast stretches of forest were just confronting me.I could feel the warmth within me.I had never before, been to a forest.
I rested at a resort there, and then in the evening i went out for some adventure sports like bridge crossing, river crossing, free falling, etc.

After this all,i felt somewhat refreshed and good. But free falling was one sport that i would prefer to anyone. But this was just the beginning..
In the evening,we went for jungle safari "in jeeps".
Initially i got kind of bored,as to i saw no animals except some deer's and a rattle snake...
But as i covered more and more distance deep into the jungle,i felt lightness and freshness within me. I thought of as settling there and spending rest of my life there, but on practical terms,it was not possible.
After this all,i came to know the true meaning of conserving our forests and the wildlife.
On the second day,i went to nainital...
In my childhood,i had once went there but now i didn't remembered a damn thing about it.
As soon as i entered nainital,it started raining, which added more to the beauty of the place.
After having lunch,i went to naini lake for boating with my friends...
A light breeze was flowing all along. As we reached more and more to the other shore,we felt as if we are in heaven.
The clouds were touching the water surface and all whole atmosphere was tremendously beautiful.
When the time came for my departure,my inner self was not at all ready to leave the place..

It was a goddamn place, one should see in his/her life.

JAN LOKPAL BILL

Salient features of Jan Lokpal Bill

1. Drafted by Justice Santosh Hegde, Prashant Bhushan and Arvind Kejriwal, this Bill has been refined on the basis of feedback received from public on website and after series of public consultations. It has also been vetted by and is supported by Shanti Bhushan, J M Lyngdoh, Kiran Bedi, Anna Hazare etc. It was sent to the PM and all CMs on 1st December.

2. An institution called LOKPAL at the centre and LOKAYUKTA in each state will be set up

3. Like Supreme Court and Election Commission, they will be completely independent of the governments. No minister or bureaucrat will be able to influence their investigations.

4. Cases against corrupt people will not linger on for years anymore: Investigations in any case will have to be completed in one year. Trial should be completed in next one year so that the corrupt politician, officer or judge is sent to jail within two years.

5. The loss that a corrupt person caused to the government will be recovered at the time of conviction.

6. How will it help a common citizen: If any work of any citizen is not done in prescribed time in any government office, Lokpal will impose financial penalty on guilty officers, which will be given as compensation to the complainant.

7. So, you could approach Lokpal if your ration card or passport or voter card is not being made or if police is not registering your case or any other work is not being done in prescribed time. Lokpal will have to get it done in a months time. You could also report any case of corruption to Lokpal like ration being siphoned off, poor quality roads been constructed or panchayat funds being siphoned off. Lokpal will have to complete its investigations in a year, trial will be over in next one year and the guilty will go to jail within two years.

8. But wont the government appoint corrupt and weak people as Lokpal members? That wont be possible because its members will be selected by judges, citizens and constitutional authorities and not by politicians, through a completely transparent and participatory process.

9. What if some officer in Lokpal becomes corrupt? The entire functioning of Lokpal/ Lokayukta will be completely transparent. Any complaint against any officer of Lokpal shall be investigated and the officer dismissed within two months.

10. What will happen to existing anti-corruption agencies? CVC, departmental vigilance and anti-corruption branch of CBI will be merged into Lokpal. Lokpal will have complete powers and machinery to independently investigate and prosecute any officer, judge or politician.
Anna Hazare Jailed on 16th August. Is this the INDEPENDENCE we celebrated on the 15th??

He is demanding enactment of a strong anti-corruption law - Jan Lokpal Bill - to ensure swiftness and certainty of punishment to the corrupt.

Will his movement have any impact on the deaf  Government of India?

Yes, it certainly would. Because, last time when Anna sat on fast -

6 corrupt ministers in Maharashtra had to resign
400 corrupt officers were dismissed from job
2002 - Maharashtra RTI Act was passed
2006 - Central Government withdrew its proposal to amend Central RTI Act

Now Anna is fasting to demand Jan Lokpal Bill. JAN LOKPAL BILL will act as deterrent and instill fear in the minds of corrupt people.

"At 74, Anna is not fasting for himself, he is fasting for the future of my kid. I will myself fast on 17th August for a day and ask my 5 year daughter also to skip a meal on 17th August," Rakesh, a software engineer.

What can you do?

1) Take to the streets in a peaceful and non-violent manner along with other Anna Hazare supporters in your town/city.

2) Spread the word - Use Facebook, Emails, SMSes, etc.

3) Keep yourself updated on the latest requests/appeals by Anna to the People of India and try your best to follow them.

Why Donate Blood ?

“Blood Donation”, its myths and benefits. Some of them included as follows:-
1) It doesn’t create weakness instead generates activeness and happiness is something you get free of cost after it!
2) The criteria to be able to donate blood :-
a) Age must be greater than 18
b) Weight must be more than 45 kgs
c) You should not have had certain diseases in the recent past like Dengue, Malaria, etc . These checks are done on the spot by the doctors.
d) Haemoglobin content should be more than 12 units and other factors are there which are told on the site.
3) The whole process is of 5-7 minutes including medical test and donation of blood.
4) You get a free test of various medical diseases like HIV, etc and get a medical report of it.
5) One unit of blood taken from you which contains 350ml to 450ml of blood is regained by your body within 24 hours.
6) For people who are fat – It helps reducing cholesterol :-)
7) Blood Donation reduced the possibility of heart diseases by 33 %.
8) Many lives are lost just because of the scarcity of the blood units. India requires 9 million blood units every year and collects only 6 million!
There was no legend in their past or present, yet they seemed like they’re the real legend. How often we talk of environment? How many of us have fought the cause? How many of us switch off the lights, laptops, fans when we leave our rooms? Probably only 5 % of the total people.

“Many people have lived without love, but none without water.”
Did you know.. Delhi alone guzzles 4.5 crore litres of water for car washing! We are doing it at the cost of other humans who are facing water crisis, who have to migrate from their houses just in search of water and who die for lack of water!
